Virtus Lagoon Publishing welcomes submissions from emerging and independent authors who are serious about their craft. In particular, we are interested in manuscripts that demonstrate strong storytelling, thoughtful themes, and a clear authorial voice. Virtus Lagoon Publishing is a mission-driven press guided by Christian values. Because of this foundation, we welcome a wide range of storytelling while still maintaining clear editorial standards.

We remain open to most fiction genres. However, we do not publish work that directly and materially conflicts with the core principles of the press. Therefore, questions of content alignment, tone, and thematic direction are reviewed through the judgment of the founders and editorial leadership of Virtus Lagoon.

Above all, we seek manuscripts that demonstrate:

Requirements to Submit a Manuscript

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that your materials include the following:

  • Complete manuscript file
  • Short synopsis (1–2 paragraphs)
  • Author biography
  • Estimated word count

Authors should submit manuscripts in Google Doc, PDF, or DOCX format whenever possible. Standard manuscript formatting is recommended, including a readable font, 1.5 – 2 spacing, and consistent paragraph formatting.
